The MALzirkus in Bad Neuenahr Ahrweiler and Schleiden supports children from the flood area with art therapy. Here they can work through their experiences and paint what they cannot express.

We offer children the opportunity to deal with their fears and experiences through the animal and experiential education, to gain confidence and strengthen resilience.

Because every life counts, we help large and small animals in need. Protecting nature and promoting sustainability is important to us in order to strengthen the future for everyone.
Our vision
We look after over 3000 traumatised children at 3 locations. The psychological distress is great. There is a lack of therapy places, especially for children and adolescents. Parents are often overwhelmed by the overall situation and are unable to help their children. We would like to offer a place of refuge on a farm in order to Strengthening children and their families, Training sustainability and a to promote inclusive, intergenerational coexistence.

How do I receive a donation receipt?
Donations to Fortuna hilft e.V. are tax-deductible in accordance with § 10 b para. 1 EStG. We will automatically send you a donation receipt for your donation in the first quarter of the following year at the latest. Donations up to 300 euros can be donated without a donation receipt. (donation receipt) at the tax office. A bank statement is sufficient for this purpose.
We would like to thank you for your generous support, which enables us to realise important projects and measures and help people in need. Your donation makes a significant difference and we are grateful for your commitment.
To issue the donation receipt, we need from an amount of 300 Euro your address. Please send them to us by e-mail to info@fortuna-hilft.de or enter it in the purpose of use. The donation receipt will then be sent by post to the address given.

Klaudia Skodnik - head and heart of the Fortuna hilft "family", is on site wherever help is needed. She works tirelessly for people and animals. True to her motto "Together we can achieve more", she is always happy to bring together many helpers and angels. She makes full use of her experience and skills and when she is not on the road delivering aid supplies or rescuing animals, she takes care of the many other areas that are also important in an organisation 😉 Usually late into the night ....

More about Karen
Karen Sander - my great angel and my personal favourite person. She is my compass in so many stormy times. Karen has been with me since the very beginning and without her so many things would not have been possible, because when you have someone by your side who goes through thick and thin with you, it's easier to keep going and persevere. What I always admire about Karen is her green thumb, especially in her beautiful natural garden. She tends and cares for it carefully and with lots of love. Our totally animal-crazy angel is just as loving towards her fur and feather*hearts, the two dogs Fine and Steppke as well as the chickens called Flausch, Helga Hummel, Mrs Marple, Dusseline and Blondie and her pensioner horse Spotty. They all get to enjoy life to the full with Karen. She always has the greatest ideas - if there's something wrong and I call her, Karen has the solution in no time. And sometimes she even pulls a real miracle out of her sleeve. When in doubt, in the form of chocolate. Especially when it comes to difficult topics, she is such a valuable dialogue partner and gives many people support and confidence. I would also like to mention her wonderful son Tim: with his very special talent, he paints and designs our fantastic "WeAHRfamily" and "Ukraine" pictures with her. The two of them really are an absolute dream team! As you can already guess, Karen is a huge blessing, an important part and pillar of Fortuna, without whom it would not be possible to go this way.

Alina Stockhausen - our absolute multi-organisational angel with a huge heart for people and animals. I got to know Alina right at the beginning of the flood disaster, she was badly affected herself with the open stable in Erftstadt. Whenever I was there, I only saw her in her work clothes, always tackling things, helping everyone, as long as things were moving forward. She always showed the patience of an angel - especially with me... Alina often helped me to distribute the donations in kind and relief supplies - I often had to say: "I'm so sorry, I'll be late..." 8 p.m. quickly turned into midnight, but Alina always made arrangements to meet me. This helpfulness and "just making things happen together" characterise her so much. You can always rely on her and with her wonderful, calm manner she is a rock in the surf for so many. When it comes to organisation, she is an absolute all-rounder with her structured way of working, with so many threads coming together: Whether it's appointments, planning, project organisation or everything to do with our campaigns, Alina has an overview, manages everything and always has an open ear for everyone.
It is impossible to imagine Fortuna Hilft without our Super*Angel, because she is a very, very important and integral part of us... It is a great joy and blessing that dear Alina has met us and accompanies and supports us through ups and downs with her calm and gentle nature.
