And they keep coming - the stories that give us hope, that move us deeply and show us that we can achieve so much good together if we just don't give up:
Just over a week ago, I met Svetlana, a refugee, with her two completely frightened and malnourished dogs at Berlin Central Station - desperate, as no accommodation could be found where she could take her animals.
However, separating from them was absolutely not an option for Svetlana. Without further ado, we took them to a hotel where they were supposed to stay. After just under a week, however, Svetlana was once again standing at the main railway station with her dogs - she could no longer stay in the hotel with the animals. Svetlana was desperate... Svetlana and her furry friends were able to join two other kind-hearted people who live with their own three dogs in a house with a garden.
Three days later, Svetlana is registered and has arrived.

The dogs are visibly thawing out in their new environment and with the three other four-legged friends and - like their owner - are enjoying the peace, security and warmth of their new home.
Today there is to be a free appointment with the vet to give the dogs a thorough check-up - just great!
And Svetlana is almost unrecognisable: She slept really well the first night.

Stories like this are only possible thanks to all the helping angels who do not let themselves be discouraged and work every day to help people in need. Great respect and 1000 thanks for that!
