Yesterday I had to have a look at the autumn and Halloween crafts of our #malcircus come and see it in person. In #schleiden I was immediately welcomed by the angels RebeccaMarcel Müller and Veronika Steffen - what a pleasure to see you again!
For our action day, dear Rebecca brought along support from the Charlie team. It was so nice to meet dear Ruth, thank you for thats you were there.
The great Watfa Chouman made it possible for us to use the premises of the Flood Relief Centre due to the many children expected. Thank you to you, the Maltese in Germanyhland, the workers' welfarefaguided, Caritas, the German Red Cross Cross and of the Diakonie Katastrophenhelp theress you always have an open heart for the children and us - and of course for everyone else in need.
The children clearly had fun, crafting and painting like a small, refreshing autumn breeze: whether autumnal pictures, illuminated glasses or window decorations - there was something of everything. Of course, our fantastic local mayor Ingo Pfennings couldn't miss out on such an event. He was actively involved and was even knighted by the children. We hope to have the honour of welcoming the Knight of the Yellow Leaf more often.
Anyone who does so much handicraft work urgently needs refreshments: Super*Engel Rebecca had prepared a fantastic potato soup - which was an absolute hit with young and old alike!
Thank you for everything - it was so nice, I would have preferred not to drive at all...
