Our Christmas*Angel - Vet Марина Нємцева and Piotr from the #Ukraine came to visit Karen Sander and we were able to spend a few hours together before the long journey to Kiev started again.
Both look after the injured animals and care for the abandoned animals in the war zone. We are very grateful to be able to walk together with such big-hearted people and thus to have competent and trustworthy contact persons directly on site.
The hardship caused by the additional cold is almost unbearable. Food, medicine and other medical supplies are urgently needed. The weakest suffer the most. The handicapped animals in particular have little chance of survival.
