We had some magical support, which we would like to tell you about today:
Sophia recently completed a two-week internship with us and it's pretty exciting to see what that looks like:
As our area of responsibility is very large, our intern was of course allowed to get a taste of everything. We usually spent the mornings together with Mirijam Wolberg in the Fortuna base - a co-working space at my home, so to speak.
There, the two of them worked on social media, graphic design and our website. Always with a lot of fun and good humour, of course, as you can see in the pictures. We quickly realised that Sophia is very creative, she immediately got involved in the work and had great ideas - which we were very happy to implement together.
For example, she helped design post contributions and created a "bee quiz for Malzirkus Kids". A small project of her own, which she was allowed to research and design independently.
Of course, Sophia also accompanied me on my travels: Together with Karen Sander, we were able to pick up food donations from a dear supporter and, of course, she couldn't miss our event in Dernau "Malzirkus trifft Zirkuszelt" in the "JUHtelaue-Zelt" of Johanniter Unfallhilfe Mittelrhein.
Here too, Sophia eagerly lent us a helping hand.
At the end of the internship, we visited a wonderful sanctuary with Karen - surrounded by so many sweet fur*hearts, it was simply the perfect end to the internship.
