Yesterday our dear Angelika Kohlgraf in the forum of Point of view.horse take a seat. It was about the topic "Merciful or merciless?".

Together with Vivian Schöne , Tanja Mundt-Kempen and Peter Pfister & Steffi Schade - Natural partnership with horses she dedicated herself to this sad topic.

It is so important to always keep an eye on your animal and be prepared for the farewell. When the inevitable happens, you have to decide "in favour of the horse" and take the final path together.

We owe it to our animal partners to make this decision responsibly when it is necessary. Of course, it's not exactly easy, but you shouldn't be afraid to seek advice from others on this difficult subject.

If you realise that a horse owner is unable to cope with the issue on their own, you should enter into a conversation and support them. So, dear ones, always be mindful and enjoy your time together.

Through her many years of work at Animal welfare organisation - Komet - Cooperation between humans and animals Angelika is very familiar with this topic. It was therefore a special honour and pleasure for her to be part of this discussion on behalf of Komet and Fortuna.
