At Therapeutic Riding Eifel e.V., the kids slipped into the role of the four-legged friends. They took a close look at the grooming equipment used to care for the horses.
What is it called and what exactly do you do with it?u? Are the bristles hard or soft?h? Why is the "brush" made of rubber?
After analysing, the children naturally also tested themselves: How much pressure with the currycomb is comfortable? Does it tickle? And how does a horse feel?
We heard that everyone left the arena with spick and span boots, because the hoof scraper was very popular! Every groove on the soles was scraped out with a lot of fun - you just have to know your tools!
Thanks to Heike and her team - this makes learning and discovering a real pleasure.
