Secret Mother's Day craft with paper wire

The painting circus at Niederhutstraße 42 in Ahrweiler was quite mysterious 🤐 Last Saturday, the Mother's Day crafting with paper wire took place there. ❤️ Some of the kids came accompanied by their fathers to make a lovely gift for their mothers on their special day. 🤩
Using the paper wire technique, the kids were able to bend figures, to which colourful paper was then glued. Natalie Reuscher worked real vines in advance with a lot of power from Dernau. 🍇 These first had to be cut into pieces with a circular saw 💪 and after further processing they could then be used as stands for the enchanting filigree figures.
The kids were very happy and eager to mould and shape countless hearts. 💕 Fine motor skills were also trained at the same time. As always, Steffi Raths was on hand to help and advise the children.🤝
It was then tricky to get the lovingly made gifts past the mums at home so that they were opaque 😶‍🌫️ - Natalie had the perfect solution: she wrapped the small and large works of art in aluminium foil with great care to ensure that everything remained intact! 💝 Bianca Ferber has once again looked after the children's companions in the Circuscafe. 🥰
With good coffee and cake, there is always the opportunity to chat and share ideas.
She was also able to distribute a very kind donation of food from Jörg Schmitz directly to those affected. Many thanks for that! 🧺❤️
A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful team from Malzirkus and the Begegnungscafé Ahrweiler for organising another lovely day for the children. We’re absolutely certain the mums will be delighted with their beautiful gifts this coming Sunday. 🎁😍
