At our kids' event "Summer crafts with paper wire", guests young and old created magical holiday motifs. Under the scent of fresh popcorn, the children brought memories of past wonderful holidays and summer breaks to life by modelling and crafting special impressions with paper wire. Of course, future holiday dreams were also created in the process.
Especially the works of art of Egypt with the great pyramids and the Eiffel Tower in Paris made a big impression on us!
But it wasn't just major holiday destinations that were recreated, the children also beautifully realised a trip on a fishing boat and a visit to an ice cream parlour.
While the glue had to dry, the children could make bracelets, paint or play in the play corner. Our team from MALzirkus and ZuvAHRsicht Bianca Ferber, Natalie Reuscher and Steffi Raths were always on hand with help and advice and, as always, did a sensational job of organising and lovingly looking after all the participants, with the very kind support of Johanna Page and Conny Herbst. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you angels!
Many thanks also to the ASB in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler for allowing us to be your guests and for once again organising such a wonderful event for the kids.
Many thanks to Children's aid organisation Global-Care Foundation, The Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband - General Association , Aktion Deutschland Hilft , Help - Help for self-help , A heart for children, Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk e.V.. , Charity Alliance and the community foundation of Volksbank RheinAhrEifel for their kind support.
Yours Klaudia Skodnik and the Fortuna helps team
