Today is World Children's Day!
Thank you for supporting our work in so many ways. 
At the painting circus, children who have experienced stressful and traumatic events receive loving support in art therapy. They have the opportunity to gently process their experiences and express themselves through various media. But they can also simply take a deep breath or share their big and small worries with someone who is attentive and caring. our teams in Gemünd and Ahrweiler are there to listen with understanding.
We create an environment in which children and young people feel comfortable and can let go. In addition to our therapy programmes, we also provide short breaks with our children's events as well as painting and craft activities, because fun and lightness are part of childhood.
Group activities, especially in the great outdoors, also encourage the children to interact with each other, they have similar experiences and everyday life also presents them with challenges that they can share with their peers. We always experience wonderful moments with the children and young people in which they create something of their own, grow, face challenges, work together as a team and are strengthened as a result. They experience the ability to act again and to make a difference in what they do. This is a very important experience after such traumatic experiences as the flood disaster or fleeing from war in their home country, where as a child you are powerless.
