At the painting circus in City of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler the fun sock monster crafting session with Steffi Raths took place. Natalie Reuscher reports on the eerily beautiful craft day:
"Old socks were
into weird and wonderful, scary sock monsters.
Buttons, pipe cleaners, wool, cardboard, felt, beads, foam rubber, yarn and much more were used. These spooky Halloween creations were made with great concentration!
The children quickly learnt that gluing buttons is not as effective as sewing them on. How to use a needle and thread
was a challenge for the children, but they mastered it fabulously under Steffi's guidance!
People beware, there are sock monsters on the loose tonight!
During the break - far away from
with the children under the guidance of Bianca Ferber Team games were organised. So that the children could return to their crafting with a clear head."
Wow! So many unique monster socks are now up to mischief! We are thrilled!

Many thanks to our Steffi, Natalie and Bianca for the great organisation and design of the day for the children.
