The second day of the second Christmas pottery workshop took place - albeit a week later - at Malzirkus Ahrweiler. Bianca says that the children were able to get involved in the pottery again.
"Unfortunately, some of the exhibits did not survive the first drying process unscathed. However, the children didn't let this get them down and made the damaged pieces again. And they were even more beautiful than the first ones!
Once again, they were beaten, pressed, kneaded, moulded and painted.
As soon as we receive the finished exhibits, we notify the families so that the beautiful works of art arrive at home in time for Christmas."
Many thanks to Viktoria Rico Gomez from the Atelier Donnerblumewho led the course so well and to Natalie Reuscher and Bianca Ferber for the organisation and the active break programme.
Many thanks to Children's aid organisation Global-Care Foundation , The Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband - General Association, Aktion Deutschland Hilft, Help - Help for self-help, A heart for children and to all private donors for their fantastic support.
Yours Klaudia Skodnik and the Fortuna helps team
