"Today's KidsTreff wasn't just a bit more contemplative
planned, but I had once again come up with something very special. 
planned, but I had once again come up with something very special. First of all, I asked the cosy group who knew what mindful and appreciative meant.
The children were not so familiar with the terminology and so I was happy to explain what this meant in our dealings with each other.
Then each child was given a sheet of paper with a name on it and, in turn, everyone wrote something to this child. Positive things on his sheet. 
Everyone was allowed to decorate their writing with coloured pencils and stickers. 
Just look at the wonderful, colourful variety of lovely sentences that have been put down on paper. 
I was so proud of every single one of them. 
I then packed the sheets into envelopes.
This was followed by delicious home-baked biscuits 
a great round of scrap metal gnomes. 
Some of the kids had never done this before and they all had an incredible amount of fun.

Later, the last parcels were unpacked with much amazement and some were exchanged with each other.
Later, the last parcels were unpacked with much amazement and some were exchanged with each other.The two hours just flew by and the feedback on this afternoon was simply fantastic. 
My personal favourite moment was when each child unwrapped their letter and read what the others appreciated about him/her. A few secret tears of emotion were hastily wiped away, and the smile on each child's face was so beautiful. These letters will accompany the kids for a long time on their way to becoming themselves. And they will certainly give one or two of them support in difficult situations.
Because nobody is like you and that is exactly your strength!
