"Learning success with ease"
The individual learning aid - our new course with Gaby Hammer at the Gemünd painting circus
Due to her many years of experience as an independent child, youth and family counsellor, as well as her activities
In her work at an open all-day school and as a supervisor of various holiday and leisure activities, Gaby has observed that children are increasingly struggling with concentration problems and a low frustration tolerance. This leads to children as This also leads to dissatisfaction, insecurity and, above all, conflict among parents and manifests itself in learning blocks in everyday school life. Being able to regulate and calm oneself, to deal with one's own feelings and needs, to be able to endure frustration and impatience as well as inner tensions is an essential part of a later resilient life. However, small and low-threshold interventions can promote and strengthen these points in a child-friendly and playful way. This kind of strengthening is particularly important for children who have to deal with stressful experiences during the flood disaster.
How does this course help?
This course is specifically about creating a new basis to make learning easy and fun again. Building a healthy confidence in one's own abilities and possibilities plays a major role in this, as does strengthening an appropriate ability to concentrate and promoting emotional competence. In a playful and creative way, the children learn to feel safe and strong in the world of their emotions, which has a positive effect on improved regulation of their impulses and thus on social interaction.
The special exercises in the course help children to overcome existing learning blocks or prevent them from developing. To this end, interventions from a wide range of areas are carried out, which can be integrated both at home and in everyday school life and are always flexibly and individually adapted to the needs of the respective course children.
