On Saturday we once again had the lovely Petra and Peter as our guests, who spoilt us with delicious cakes and everything else we needed.
We are now also well prepared for Carnival Monday, thank you very much. Natalie also surprised Petra and Peter with a small thank-you gift, which was so creatively created during the carnival preparations. They were both very happy! It has found a lovely new home with them.
The preparations were in full swing for the Rose Monday parade, but the best thing was that father and daughter painted together.
Johanna Page was also a guest and also received a small token of appreciation for the voluntary help she constantly provides and always does such a great job organising our senior citizens' group.
As we realised what she particularly liked about the carnival preparations, Natalie worked it out on a canvas in no time with a few small changes and a lot of creativity. Johanna was flabbergasted and, sorry Johanna, you don't experience that very often.
Natalie and I also had a little surprise for everyone: we were allowed to hand out a delicious pumpkin soup that we cooked together.
We were once again very well attended and we were also able to welcome new guests who live in the neighbourhood but have not yet dared to stop by yesterday at the square and in the café.
Yours Bianca Ferber
