Some people were very happy about this, as the café was very well attended.On this day, we once again received very tasty cake donations from Pakeswary Sinnathamby, a great apple cake, and from Suna Ayaz, a pear cake. 
They were brought in still warm and the aroma was an invitation to a cosy, convivial get-together.
Over coffee and cake, there were lively conversations among the visitors. For example: "How are things going for you on the building site?", and one person reported that he finally got back into the house a fortnight ago. 
He was able to move in and although not everything is finished yet, he is positive about the whole thing. Another was happy for him and reported that a tradesman had unfortunately just cancelled again. So perhaps the home-baked cake was also a little consolation for some of them."
