Vergangener Donnerstag war viel los in der Niederhutstraße 42 in Ahrweiler. Es gab eine Menge fröhliche Momente, aber auch tragische Neuigkeiten wurden von Betroffenen berichtet.
Art therapy with Sarah Uessem took place at the Ahrweiler painting circus; the watercolour technique course ran in parallel under the guidance of Victoria Rico Gomez from the Atelier Donnerblume.
The children devoted themselves to watercolouring blossoms and flowers
. To do this, they first learnt the "wet-on-wet" technique, for which the collected rainwater
and coloured the paper. This was followed by glazing layers of colour on top of each other. The calyxes were then
cut out
and designed the flowers on a wide sheet of paper. The children worked with curiosity and concentration on their spring pictures and were visibly proud of the results.
Many thanks to the entire team for this great day of action
!
The Café Circustraum
was able to reopen its outdoor terrace and was well attended.
Thanks to the Valder bakery from Karweiler, we were able to offer visitors delicious baked goods.
In conversations with those affected, we heard that a development bank was unable to make payments for technical reasons; the sad consequence is that families are now facing insolvency. People who have already lost everything suffer such blows of fate. We are grateful that with the zuvAHRsicht in the Café Circustraum with Natalie Reuscher and Bianca Ferber a place has been created where everyone can share their worries and always find a listening ear and encouragement. Thank you
Many thanks also to Children's aid organisation Global-Care Foundation, The Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband - General AssociationAktion Deutschland Hilft and all private donors.
Yours Klaudia Skodnik and the Fortuna helps team
