Under the guidance of Steffi Raths and Sarah Uessem, many colourful Easter eggs were painted at the Ahrweiler painting circus on Saturday.
Sarah tells us:
"They dabbed, blotted, brushed and painted with their hands. Great, varied Easter decorations were created and the children were really looking forward to the coming Easter. One speciality was the 'marbeling technique', which gives the eggs a beautiful marbled finish: Special colours are applied in a water bath The egg is then dipped into the paint using a wooden stick and the result is a fantastic marbled effect. Painting Easter eggs with children is a special experience, they learn to create completely new shapes and backgrounds and can give free rein to their creativity. Easter can come!"
Thank you very much, dear Sarah and Steffi. What an interesting technique!
But with so many beautiful Easter eggs, the Easter bunny will be amazed.
Many thanks also to Children's aid organisation Global-Care Foundation, The Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband - General AssociationAktion Deutschland Hilft and all private donors for their support.
