"We have turned blue! And in the truest sense of the word!"

At the "Simply Blue" workshop at the Malzirkus in Ahrweiler, the participants painted with royal blue ink under the guidance of Sarah Uessem and Steffi Raths, and then came the magical yet simple trick: using an ink eraser to paint beautiful pictures in the dried ink!
Whether patterns, hearts, friends, family, cats or flowers - the children had great ideas! Even with blobs and their fingers work was carried out. The circus wagon shone in bright ultramarine. The blue squares
radiate lightness and expansiveness. With ink and ink eraser, the technique is simple yet effective: the effect of the royal blue ink, carefully stroked over the paper,
is calming and, with the help of the ink eraser, the most beautiful pictures emerge almost by themselves - the mind can come to rest and the hands can take over. Calmness in action and marvelling at the traces of the ink eraser are at the forefront here. Centring and focusing, mindfulness and imagination are encouraged. Taking something out of the picture instead of adding something is also very relaxing and really invites everyone to join in! It was great fun!
Thank you so much, Sarah and Steffi!
