Despite the light rain, they were able to enjoy the arts and crafts programme. and we heard a lot of children laughing. Hope was great as always and cuddled each child at the start, which made it easier to get on the bus. Then she listened quietly to the children's conversations while the "Hobby Horses" made of cardboard were already taking on great shapes. There was also a lot of dialogue with the parents at pick-up time. Good conversations that also put the adults in a good mood. Many things take time and progress is made in small steps. Trust doesn't grow overnight, but through consistency and understanding. I realised very clearly that we are on the right track with the work in and around the FortunaMobil. Taking the children out of the valley and into a natural oasis has significantly improved access to them." - Heike Holtz
