Creative shelter workshop at the Ahrweiler painting circus

"In an atmosphere of trust, the participants focussed on the question of what their personal inner safe space looks like, where they feel safe and secure. After an emotional barometer and a brief discussion about the factors that contribute to a feeling of safety, the creative, artistic exploration began. Using watercolour and acrylic paints as well as coloured pencils, the participants found their inner place of safety. The subsequent feedback round was very well received. The participants took their designs home with them, relaxed and invigorated. - Victoria Rico Gomez
