Start of the mini theatre - empathising with the forest people

"On Thursday we started our 6-week mini theatre project about the life and history of the little forest people.
The first step was to listen to the story and empathise with the forest dwellers with all our senses. And where better to do that than outdoors in nature? Feeling the light wind on your skin and savouring the summery smells of grass and moss. Take in the soft rustling of the trees, let your gaze wander into the blue sky and savour the fresh berries.
That was already a good start. 👍🏼
The fact is that everyone who hears something read to them hears their very own story, which then creates very personal inner images. Everyone perceives exactly those things that relate to them in some way. So each child was then able to put their very own inner images on paper and explain their picture afterwards.
It is really very interesting to see what details some children hear and what differences are reflected in the pictures from one and the same story. We then drew up a site plan for our stage set together from the various illustrations.
But I can't give any more away just yet. 🤫
We'll continue next week and you can all look forward to seeing what other ideas we come up with! 🤩
See you soon, Gaby."
Thank you very much, dear Gaby. 🧡
