"We started with a new theme. The mosaic technique, which has been known since ancient times.
It was not only used for the aesthetic embellishment of rooms, but also often had a symbolic meaning.
Mosaics tell stories, for example from mythology or the Christian faith.
But Before the kids tell a story with their mosaics, they first had to practise, because it's not quite that easy, as everyone soon realised.
However, everyone agreed that the initial results were already impressive.
While stones were sorted and glued in the background to relaxed music, the kids were able, as always, to talk about their experiences from everyday school life in our safe space.
For me, it is always noticeable how good it is for the kids to be allowed to talk without any shame or sanctions.
It's great that the kids' meeting place exists, which has become very important to everyone.
Many thanks also to the Profinos Family Centre, St. Philippus & Jakobus for this great cooperation."
