"Child-friendly Zentangle templates with summer motifs served as a painting surface: they were divided into sections and could be gradually filled with different patterns by the children.
What actually is a pattern and what is the difference to a shape? How do different variants emerge from a pattern?
Zentangle is a great combination of active creativity and relaxation at the same time. Drawing the fine patterns promotes fine motor skills, perspective vision and trains patience and mindfulness.
Zentangle calms, relaxes and reduces stress. It is usually drawn with black fineliners, but the children were in the mood for colour and so they created varied and colourful pictures!

It's so nice to see when the children feel at ease and start talking to each other.
Today we discussed what the dream school should look like:
Chairs made of lollipops, chocolate bars and teachers made of edible paper!
It's just great that our creative activities in the circus wagon also inspire conversations, dialogue and dreams."
