"After 6 weeks of preparation, countless rehearsals and lots of fun, the time had finally come! The mini theatre about the life of the forest people was performed in front of parents, grandparents, siblings and the teacher. Only one thing didn't really want to play along: the weather! But we wouldn't be Fortuna hilft e.V. and the team at the Malzirkus in Schleiden-Gemünd if we had to brave autumn storms and rain from doing anything! So, without further ado, the backdrop was set up inside the painting circus and it turned out once again that our circus wagons really are true quick-change artists. First there was a short rehearsal in the modified set before many more spectators arrived in the late afternoon than expected. The tension rose noticeably as our little actors entered the room to portray the sometimes very awkward lives of the little forest dwellers. The big challenge for the children was to slip into the most diverse roles. On the one hand, they portrayed the 
The forest itself and the strong trees in it that offer protection to all forest dwellers. But the animals in the forest were also played with: 
Foxes that lumber through the forest, 
young fawns scampering around and 
Families of hedgehogs that you can hear smacking quietly through the forest. Not forgetting the 
Rabbits poking their back paws into the ground. Yes, you read that right! Right down to the different roles of the forest dwellers, everything was portrayed expressively by the children and staged as a great play. And what can I say: they were brilliant! Each in their own role. Whether as "Grim the Other", as a fairy in delicate green or as a hard-working forest dweller. They were in the right place in the set at the right time and had far fewer text hang-ups than expected.
