What a wonderful surprise! Take a look at what the lovely Silke Fröhlich has created for us with the children from the Kids-Treff! She'll tell you how it all came about:
"At the kids' get-together, we look at mosaic pictures and the stories behind them.
The idea of creating a mosaic picture for the 2021 flood emerged from these joint works and discussions.
In the course of the process, the kids came up with another idea: we want to use this great and loving Thank you for the mosaic picture Fortuna hilft e.V. created.
Without them, the weekly kids' get-togethers would not be possible and they would not have a wonderful space for themselves and their needs.
Even though everyone enjoys creating something, everyone is now looking forward to the next exercise sessions in the gymnasium of the Profinos day-care centre in Schleiden, which is always happy to make its facilities available to us.
Working with the various mosaic pictures has given the kids the opportunity to express their thoughts, feelings and fears in a safe space and share them with like-minded people. That alone has a big impact.
A wonderful project has now been completed and the THANK YOU picture is now on its way."
