The adult course on 'My power animal' took place in Ahrweiler. Sarah Uessem reports: "To make it easier to get started, the course began with a short meditation, as it is often easier to access your own creativity in a relaxed state. A new and unfamiliar topic awaited the participants, but it was great to see how everyone got involved."

Power animals are considered human companions that help you in life and especially in times of crisis. to support us in challenging situations. The strengths, weaknesses and characteristics of the power animal can also be helpful signposts. Detached from our own perfectionism, the course was not about creating a perfect image of the animal, but about recognising what the chosen animal wants to tell us. It was an exciting and multifaceted topic that formed the basis for valuable discussions. Everyone agreed how beneficial such a creative break is for adults too and that there is no need to be afraid of judgement: "It's amazing what my subconscious wants to tell me through my pictures and what others recognise in them - it gives you so much," said one participant at the end.
