"There was a lot to discover for our young and old guests! Many a spooky ghost
had sneaked onto the site and provided some gruesome fun.
But our unicorn wasn't afraid, it stayed sitting next to the ghost the whole evening. One or two guests preferred to stay with the pumpkin family. The painting circus team welcomed little monsters, witches, vampires and wizards.
In Action Painting, each child was first allowed to use a wooden spoon or paintbrush to smack paint vigorously against the prepared wall in order to reach the blinking candy ghost. Our blinking candy ghost had hidden all the sweets in his head!
The little monstrous guests left their spooky traces behind with verve and lots of colour.
The vigorous application of the paint helps the children to release tension and emotions, while the large movements promote their coordination and motor skills. In addition to the beneficial aspects of action painting, the main focus was on having fun - and the little ones had just as much fun as the grown-ups!
For the little monsters, we had some great Halloween cupcakes, which were donated by Ela from Elas Cupcake Dreams. There were also delicious mummy pizzas donated by the Krämer family. And to calm our nerves in this spooky atmosphere, we also had hot chocolate.
One of our little monsters said: "That was the tastiest cocoa he's ever had.
It was an eerily beautiful evening".
