"It's winter outside and the birds are finding it hard to find food. To help the birds, the children in the painting circus made colourful bird feeders under my guidance.
Lovingly designed "bird restaurants" were created from a small flower pot, coconut oil and seeds.
First of all, each child was allowed to design their potty freely and colourfully so that the birds would enjoy coming to feed. So that the grains do not fall out when hanging, they were bound with organic coconut oil.
Body heat was needed to make the coconut fat smooth and mix it with the grains. We put everything into bags and everyone had to knead the mixture thoroughly.
It was fun and a completely new tactile experience!
Making the bird feeding stations stimulates the children's imagination: What could the birds like? It encourages patience, as different work steps are required that are coordinated with each other and everyone works at their own pace. It also encourages a sense of responsibility, as it is a great feeling to look after other creatures.
Many colourful stations have been created, which are now hanging in the trees and waiting for the little bird guests.
Even a rainbow station was designed for the ZuvAHRsicht, which is ready to welcome the little birds.
