"Under the motto: So that time doesn't stand still ..., we painted beautiful wooden clocks.

Steffi and I accompanied the families through the wintry afternoon. Despite the frosty cold outside, we welcomed our young and old guests and gave them lots of great tips on how to turn the colourless wooden clocks into little works of art.
Together with mum, dad, grandma or grandpa, the children formed a creative painting team. But before they started colouring, the clocks had to be pre-treated: When sanding the wooden clocks outdoors, everyone got a little warmer.
Once the preparations were complete, we thought about it together: Where should the clock hang? Which motif would be best and which colours would brighten up the room? Or should the clock be given as a gift? And to whom? "Grandad is getting a rainbow clock!" Or "I'll make a Rocher clock for Grandma because she loves them so much!" were just some of the ideas.
In addition to the fun of colouring, there was also a great learning effect: how do you actually read the clock and where exactly are the numbers? It was also possible to practise how to draw the numbers more clearly so that they can be recognised from a distance. The result was incredibly beautiful, colourful clocks.

It is particularly nice to see how time together strengthens the bond. The moments that parents and children spend together not only provide fun and games, but are also an important investment in the emotional and social development of the children and in strengthening the family bond. Creative activities promote a sense of togetherness through shared enjoyment and co-operation. Creative activities require communication and co-operation: How do we design our artwork? Which colours do we choose? Who needs support?
Of course there is also room for laughter, conversation and mutual praise!
Spending time together allows you to relax and enjoy each other's valuable company - a welcome change from the stress of everyday life.
We are delighted that the colourful clocks will now make your home even more beautiful or that you have a great Christmas present! Thank you for taking part and have fun giving the gift.
