"The very young artists (aged 3-5) were invited to the clapping picture course.
Clapping pictures are created when you fold the sheet with the wet paint in the middle and different patterns are created by chance - that was actually the theme. But the children were unanimous: they all wanted to paint freely without a programme.
There are no limits to creativity and everything is allowed. So the gossip painting course quickly turned into free painting.
The children had great fun experimenting with colours, brushes and pencils and simply painting away.
This is also a valuable process: children can express their inner feelings and thoughts when painting freely without any guidelines. It promotes self-awareness and strengthens the children's self-confidence as they make their own decisions and create their own individual works of art.
Especially in the first years of life, children are not artistically active for a specific purpose - they simply paint out of joy and pleasure - that's great to observe."
