Art with and from aluminium foil

That really crackled and crunched! Contrary to my expectations, the children were not at all afraid to fold, twist and knead the aluminium foil so that it would fit exactly as they had planned. First, they drew hearts on cardboard, cut them out and wrapped them with cord to create several squares. Then they diligently wrapped them in aluminium foil. "You may know this from your sandwiches!"
Now all that remained was "rolled" so that the cord pushes through and the squares are revealed. A small attack on motor skills: Not too hard, otherwise the film will tear, and not too little, otherwise the squares won't come out properly. A calm approach was required here. ☺️
The resulting fields could then be painted as colourful as they liked. To my great delight, one or two of them even dared to create a little man or this incredibly beautiful bird of prey. MEGA beautiful, isn't it? 🤩Gaby Hammer
Wow, thank you so much dear Gaby! You can make such creative things with aluminium foil! 🤩
