"Alaaf Jemönk" was the motto for the Malzirkus on Shrove Monday.
In bright sunshine, we set off with over 30 participants of all ages to drive away the winter spirits.
Young and old worked together for several days to prepare the fantastic costumes for the big day.
Using colours, our great plotter and a lot of creativity, we created very individual dungarees that can also be used perfectly for the garden or other creative work after carnival.
At 2.11 p.m. on the dot, it was time for "D'r Zoch kütt" We were greeted ceremoniously by our beloved KG Rot Weiß Gemünd and then it was time to say Alaaf!
Many familiar faces greeted us on the procession route and it was once again nice to meet so many people and have a good time together, because customs are important!
In between there were treats brought by the parents and with great music there was also plenty of fun.
Many thanks for this great day, which will have a lasting effect.
Thanks to KG Rot Weiß Gemünd for the great organisation, thanks to our Wissi, who helped us with everything to do with registration and security, and a very special thanks to ALL the helpers who made sure that we had a carefree time.
And to the hard-working cleaners who cleared everything of rubbish again.
Alaaf Jemönk, Alaaf Malzirkus, Alaaf KG Rot Weiß." - RebeccaMarcel Müller
Many thanks to the whole Malzirkus team.
