A place for colours - a space for emotion with Easter egg dotting

Easter dotting for adults took place at ZuvAHRsicht. Dot painting" is a painting technique in which images are created through the targeted use of dots. Creating dots. Easter was the focus of this course and this was perfectly implemented through the choice of colours and backgrounds: classic mandala discs, Easter pendants and Easter eggs were just waiting to be decorated with dots! 🎨
"Point-by-point painting requires patience and concentration, which automatically has a calming effect. Many quickly felt how the repetitive movements and clear focus triggered a pleasant inner calm. Such creative processes can help to bring order to inner chaos, reduce emotional tension and simply switch off.
Another important aspect of our programmes is the exchange that takes place during the creative work. The light flickered in the circus wagon, a small trigger for important topics of conversation: Memories of the night of the flood. While some participants still have clear and detailed memories of processes, times or even smells of the night, others experience their memories more like a silent film - without sounds, diffuse and difficult to grasp. These contrasts show how individual the processing procedures are for dealing with such a drastic experience. ZuvAHRsicht and the painting circus not only serve as a place of creativity, but are also still an important contact point for those affected to reflect together and experience healing moments. Thanks to the combination of creative expression, therapeutic benefits and social interaction, ZuvAHRsicht and the painting circus remain important for people." - Sarah Uessem
