A suitable workstation was set up with great joy and everyone waited eagerly for the result. The three women mastered the onslaught of questions with flying colours and guided the participants step by step through the process.
1. dough preparation: small balls were formed and allowed to "rise" to achieve the perfect consistency.
2. rolling out: The dough pieces were rolled out with impressive precision.
3. fillings: Three delicious variations were prepared, offering something for every taste.
Finalisation: The börek were baked fat-free in large electric pans.
From that moment on, all we could hear were enthusiastic exclamations such as "Mmmh!", "Yum!" and "Oh, I have to try that too!". Children playing on the lawn came by curiously and tasted the freshly prepared börek. Later, their parents followed, enticed by their children's enthusiastic stories.
The afternoon was therefore not only a culinary delight, but also offered a wonderful opportunity to experience culture and community. The enthusiasm was so great that other ZuvAHRsicht customers have already signed up to present their own food culture.
It was a day full of flavour, joy and living tradition - we look forward to many more such special moments!"
