20 horses urgently need your help

20 horses - including foals, pregnant mares and many emaciated, weakened animals - were suddenly left without care. The previous owner had died unexpectedly. What was left behind were catastrophic conditions: Not enough food, no care - the animals were left completely on their own in completely filthy stables.

Thanks to your quick action, we were able to act:

Helpers and vets were on site within a very short time

Specialised care centres have taken in the horses

A foal was born during the rescue - a small miracle in the midst of chaos

Initial medical treatment was initiated

We have already achieved this with your help:

Emergency feed and hay delivered

Worming treatments administered

Foal starter kit organised

First veterinary treatments carried out

Fence material and power supply secured

Medication and anabolic agents provided

But now the difficult part begins.

The running costs are enormous - and they continue to rise.

-Many horses can barely chew - they urgently need dental help

- An old, pregnant mare is in very poor condition - she could soon need intensive emergency treatment

- Further medical measures, food and accommodation costs are pending
