Update on little happiness 
The senior mum is recovering from the birth at the foster home - in Kathi's horse paradise - while the sweet little darling is busy exploring the world! 
Kathi is bottle-feeding the little man as the mare doesn't have enough milk and energy at the moment. The start of the new family happiness was not easy, but we are soooo grateful that both are in the best hands with Kathi, who looks after them with a lot of knowledge, love and dedication.
As soon as it gets nicer outside again, they are allowed out of the cool playpen and into the paddock to discover the world together! 
The mare continues to be closely monitored by our vet, as she has had postnatal problems and has also developed a bullet wound on her leg. The poor mouse also has problems with her teeth - so the dentist has yet another patient. With the number of animals we have, this is a real challenge.
