Children with a passion for games came to the painting circus to create their own tic-tac-toe game from painted bricks.
"Many people already knew the game and the rules were quickly put together: three identical characters in a row - whether vertically, horizontally or diagonally - and you win!
Tic-Tac-Toe fascinates children and adults alike, its simplicity inspires and at the same time promotes concentration - it's fun and guaranteed to banish boredom.
When making their own play, the children go through a creative process that develops their imagination and strengthens their self-efficacy.
Designing your own play figures promotes fine motor skills, individual expressiveness and the joy of creative work. Every decision - which colours and motifs the teams get, whether rainbow versus strawberry or avocado versus melon - contributes to the formation of identity and sharpens the players' own aesthetic sensibilities.
While they make the individual parts for their game, the children learn to think in larger contexts: planning, composition and the assembly of individual elements into a finished product are taught through play.
The almost limitless design possibilities stimulate their creativity and the anticipation of trying out the game they have created increases their motivation. 
Finally, small jute bags were decorated with textile pens, which also serve as a playing field and practical storage. This means the children can take their unique stone game with them wherever they go - a piece of creativity on the go.
It was an enjoyable afternoon full of imagination, lots of game variations and plenty of fun!"
