Gemünd summer festival: Time together that lasts

What a wonderful Saturday it was in Schleiden-Gemünd! Our summer festival was not only a complete success - it was a day full of laughter, encounters and genuine community. A day on which many visitors, young and old, took a break from everyday life and simply enjoyed their time together.

We were therefore all the more pleased that District Administrator Markus Ramers and Mayor Ingo Pfennings did not miss the opportunity to drop by in person. Their visit was a strong sign of support for us - thank you for being part of this special day!

There was something going on everywhere on the festival grounds: children were doing handicrafts, romping around on the bouncy castles or transforming themselves into magical fantasy creatures with face painting. At the Teddy Bear Clinic little cuddly patients were lovingly cared for, while the games course provided plenty of action. provided. With his music, Uwe Reetz and Magic Peter enchanted the little guests with his balloon art.

In between, there was plenty to feast on - whether at the "candy bar", where you could buy a colourful bag of or with the legendary waffles, which were on a stick from our Ahrweiler girls, which were in great demand. DJ André accompanied us musically throughout the day - with a lot of heart and just the right feeling for atmosphere. Thank you for that!

It was a celebration for the whole family - but also a celebration that would not have been possible without support.

We would also like to thank all the helpers in setting up and dismantling - especially Georg with his tractor, who simply made everything possible.

This festival was more than just a programme item - it was a day full of time together, a day that reminds us how valuable togetherness is. And that's exactly what we want more of - for our region, for our families, for all of us.
