We had a very special visitor: District Administrator Markus Ramers and the Dreiborn volunteer fire brigade also turned up with its siren and large fire engine.
The children were able to try out for themselves how to connect a fire hose and lend a hand with the command "Water march!".
Great fun for everyone - and everyone got a turn!
This was followed by an exciting exercise: a roadblock was simulated after an accident and the rescue of injured persons was played out with a lot of teamwork.
The children were enthusiastic and learnt an incredible amount.
To round things off, the programme included a little gummy bear challenge: using a grabber to fish a bag out of the bucket - and of course there was plenty of cheering.

And the best thing is: the week is far from over - you can still expect lots of exciting visitors. So: come along!
