Our rescue horses recently had a very important appointment: the first dental treatments were due. 
For two of our protégés, this meant a thorough check-up, adjustment and even tooth extraction. It was all the better to see how chewing was much easier again straight after the treatment - the hay was ground with relish and without restrictions. Fortunately, there was a little less work to be done on another horse, all the teeth were allowed to stay.
The curious foals naturally found it all very exciting. 
Cables, appliances and the strange noises were carefully inspected - but in the end they didn't really care why Mum was "hanging around". Brave as they are, they observed everything closely.
