"Ironing beads are only for children? Our senior citizens group from ZuvAHRsicht impressively proves the opposite! Under the guidance of Rita Herschbach and myself the group ventured into a very special material: beautiful tea light holders were created from air-drying clay, which was then imaginatively decorated with iron-on beads. 
Working with clay is far more than just a creative pleasure - shaping, pressing and modelling activates fine motor skills, promotes concentration and gives a deep sense of self-efficacy. The clay reacts directly to every touch - immediate feedback that not only stimulates the senses but also boosts self-confidence.
The group not only creates small works of art, but also moments of togetherness. Creating together creates space for sharing, laughter and memories. The colourful iron-on beads add cheerful accents and make the works shine in new splendour - a symbol of the creativity and vitality that can be found in every age."
