Our foster chick Flossy

Sometimes even the little ones need a helping hand: Flossy, a young Paduan chicken, has moved in with our dear Karen Sander. The chick had broken a toe - the outer one is fine, the middle one is unfortunately injured. Despite this injury, Flossy is active, curious and can walk well.

As the breeder didn't have the time to look after over 60 animals, he asked for help. At Karen's, Flossy now gets exactly what she needs: Care, attention and a loving environment. Under veterinary supervision and carefully cared for, the little chick is developing into a lively and happy animal.

The little chicken heart is in good hands with Karen, our self-confessed chicken mum.
