Autumn is slowly creeping in and in the early morning, when the garden is still shrouded in mist, tits, robins and sparrows are already flitting from branch to branch - in search of food. 
But it soon becomes more difficult for our feathered friends to find enough.
You can help them with simple steps:
Leave native shrubs standing - elderberry, rosehip or rowan are valuable sources of food.
Prepare feeders - install them in autumn so that the birds get used to them.
Provide fresh water - important for drinking and plumage care.In this way, we create refuges and ensure the survival of many species during the cold season. 
Extra tip: Clean the nesting boxes now - then they will be ready for use again in spring.
