Our Ahrtal-Kids had a special day with Nicole Sindermann, who brought the "Courage with Heart" workshop to our group. 
How do I deal with insults or annoying children? What can I do if someone comes too close to me or takes something from me? How can I get help and be taken seriously? How can I clearly show what I want - and what I don't want?The first contact was made at breakfast and the children were directly involved, including in the room design - so that they feel comfortable in their "safe place". 
We practised solving situations ourselves, going out, starting new games - and also how to react when the "annoying child" suddenly seeks friendship after all. 
Especially important: Every child is good just the way it is! 
This means a lot, especially in our inclusive group - because different personalities come together here. Some behaviour can be irritating at first, but together we learn again and again to show understanding, courage and heart.
We are grateful for this great workshop, which not only encourages, but also strengthens the self-esteem of each individual child.
