Colourful wind chimes

As environmental protection and the topics of sustainability and recycling are very important to us, I had brought along lots of discarded CDs and DVDs for the children to creatively remodel. Small logs were quickly found as natural material for hanging and then it was time to get started: cutting, gluing, painting, binding and definitely DECORATING! Glitter

And the result is beautiful wind chimes. See for yourself how they sparkle in the sun It was also a great exercise in fine motor skills and patience for the children, as they had to tie lots of little knots. Phew
