Thanks to a successful cooperation between Fortuna hilft e.V., the children's aid organisation Global Care and the town of Schleiden, the new first-graders in Schleiden were given lovingly packed welcome packs. The joint commitment shows how partnership-based action can create concrete support for local children - with joy, heart and a clear focus on safety and motivation for the start of school.
The packages contain numerous practical and cheerful surprises:
Coloured pencils, eraser, sharpener and ruler
A motivating children's book and a personalised cover letter
Reflectors for more safety in road traffic
Gummy bears for a sweet start
A striking, orange-coloured umbrella for good visibility on rainy days
Together with Mayor Ingo Pfennings, the initiators first presented the welcome packs to the head teachers of the primary schools in Schleiden. From there, they went straight into the hands of the new first-graders - for a colourful, safe and motivating start to the school day.
Fortuna hilft e.V. would like to thank all partners and contributors who made this project possible. The campaign illustrates how joint commitment not only helps to bring joy to children, but also to equip them in the best possible way for their new path in life.
