"We worked with soapstone on the terrace in glorious sunshine. Everyone could choose their own stone, colour it with Fand sandpaper, polish it smooth and make it shine with a little olive oil. This allowed the unique colours and textures to come out beautifully - and at the end, everyone wore their self-designed piece of jewellery home on a leather strap.
In addition to the joy of being creative, soapstone also has a special effect: the rather rough, unconventional material requires patience, strength and empathy. Sometimes things don't go according to plan and flexibility is the only way forward - a wonderful exercise in calmness and frustration tolerance. At the same time, the form is not created by adding, but by taking away - a process that also allows us to experience letting go in a very special way.
A sunny day full of creativity, mindfulness and unique pieces of jewellery!"
