Sometimes a stroke of fate changes everything - from one moment to the next.
Dad Patrick is now alone with five children after losing their mum to cancer at the age of just 31.
Our Annabell brought this special family in Schleswig-Holstein to our attention. The children are currently being lovingly supported by a hospice counsellor for grieving children - an important support during this difficult time.
So that dad can take his children safely and together to appointments, to school or to bereavement counselling, a family car is urgently needed in which everyone can fit. We were able to help in the short term and make our bus available - but in the long term, the family needs its own vehicle.
Together we can really make a difference here. The family has already started a private fundraising campaign on GoFundMe - for a car, but also for the many costs incurred as a result of the loss.
