Round 2 of the popular creative afternoon.
„I didn't have to explain much and, to be honest, I didn't say anything at all.
I I just put the boxes of Lego building blocks on the table, and when the children came into the Malzirkuswagen, they immediately started building.
What a wonderful sight and sound! Can you hear what it sounds like when lots of hands are searching for something in a box full of building blocks?
The beauty of building is that you can give free rein to your creativity and design whatever you want. And that's exactly what the children had the opportunity to do that afternoon, because I hadn't given them any instructions or brought any building sets with me. And when they said, „I'm done!“, I replied, „But today, there's no such thing as „done“. You can continue building, rebuild or even start from scratch. Whatever you like.“ And so there were many new approaches and designs. It was particularly nice to see how precisely the ideas were implemented with the available building blocks. Very creative solutions were found, „worked“ on with concentration and continued to be built and rebuilt until everyone was satisfied and it was clear what it was supposed to represent. And that's exactly what was then questioned in the group, suggestions were considered and, if necessary, implemented.
So these building blocks are not just an interesting pastime, they also promote social and emotional skills and motor skills in a very special way. But one thing always comes first: fun!“
